YUL-YYZ: best method Passes, Points or..?
Date: Tuesday January 6, 2009Posted in: xn--nqv032a89i.com edit
I have been lacklustre in planning out an upcoming YYZ-OTP MR; and as such need to find the best way to get to YYZ from YUL;
amny suggestions would be welcome;
TIA...!!!
I believe YOWkid was referring to the 11 $ / 29 $ Tango fares which were around a couple of weeks ago, and which worked out to less than 100 $ for a r/t after taxes. Don't know if there are any of those still out there...
i have booked a tango fare but total cost with taxes is 384, is 30$ the service fee (20$) u r referring to..?
TIA
EDIT: a question to the powers that be on this board; whats wiser; a paid for tkt at 384$ or using 15,000 aeroplan points..? I have the option since i found some seats in the time frame that interests me...
EDIT2: i see that the fees for an aeroplan tkt are 94$; methinks better to pay 384 n use the points for next time..!!
Here, here, a voice of sanity! And the OP now indicates he's already spent another $380+ for a TANGO fare, so what's going on? With all the VIA promos he could get from Toronto to Dorval for just over $100 return, not lose any AE miles and return the MR to being a cost-effective exercise. (Of course, VIA is subject to native protests shutting down its main line...)
the voice(s) of sanity have prevailed; and this trip has been put on the backburner for now;
Thank God for my fellow FT'ers who put this whole exercise in perspective..!!
